Laugh the night away with improv’s Wayne Brady

If the old saying “laughter is the best medicine” rings true for you, you’ll want to take in the feel-good comedy show starring Wayne Brady, coming to the stage on Nov. 5, at 8 p.m., at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

Brady, actor, singer, dancer and comedian, is best known for his show-stealing role on the improv comedy TV show hosted by Drew Carey, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” I recall laughing along with my family as I watched this show when it originally aired. How cool that it’s back (since 2013) on TV now?

In 2003, Brady won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical or Comedy Series for his work on the show. More recently, he performed in Broadway’s “Kinky Boots.”

So, if you love to laugh at created-on-the-spot comedy, like I do, I believe the charismatic stage antics of Brady will have you laughing out loud – even on the ride home.

And if you go, I can bet that you will have fun, readers!
