Showcase with everything for in and around your home

With spring four days away (despite the icy sidewalks and leftover snow on the ground), many people will start their spring cleaning – or renovating – routines. If you need some ideas to spruce up your home for the spring and summer, check out the Suffolk County Home Show, on March 18 and 19, at St. Anthony’s High School Sports Arena in South Huntington.

Whether you plan to work on your garden, kitchen or bathroom, this show will have more than 200 exhibitors on-site to satisfy your redecorating needs and questions. There will be building, contracting, window and pool companies and landscapers, among others. Local interior designers will give tips at seminars, too.

And, don’t leave without stopping by to see Chef Warren Caterson, author of “Table for Two: The Cookbook for Couples,” who will be doing cooking demos all weekend at the home show.

If you need some inspiration and motivation to get you going on a home fixer-upper, don’t miss this show – you’ll leave with endless ideas (I’m sure of it).
