700 exotic cars expected at show for diabetes cure
Downtown Glen Cove’s School, Bridge and Glen streets will be taken over by juggernauts of luxury bearing names like Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Porche, BMW and Mercedes Benz, as well as custom cars, for the Gold Coast Concours-Bimmerstock Car Show, on June 3, to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI). Back for its 10th consecutive year, the car show has been held to support DRI’s worthy mission to cure diabetes.
Car enthusiasts and spectators will have plenty to ogle at in Glen Cove’s larger-than-life, outdoor showroom, with exotic cars (worthy of being deemed works of art) no less – it’s electrifying! This show, which begins at 11 a.m., is produced by Martino Auto Concepts and Exotics 4 Life.
Walking among the cars, the colors will bedazzle and designs will have you gazing in awe. I might even have to pinch myself to be sure I’m not dreaming. There is a great deal to look at here. Plus, throughout the day, you can also enjoy music, raffles and an assortment of food offerings from local restaurants and food trucks.
So, my suggestion to you this week is to go downtown, cause everything “cartastic” is waiting for you!
