All Kids Fair is sure to bring out the kid in all of us

This Sunday, turn your kids’ cries of “there’s nothing to do,” around, and give them plenty to do at this year’s All Kids Fair, where all the entertainment and fun showcases are focused on them, at Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville. Just wait until I tell you the reasons why your kids, and you, will want to go!

Tiny legs will be racing to Tack’N’Go Farms of Oakdale’s petting zoo, which invites the kids to pet and meet sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens. They can also get up-close-and-personal with 150 magnificent butterflies in The Butterfly Experience from Ronkonkoma. Choose to view the butterflies through the mesh tent, or enter the tent with a feeding stick that will beckon these brightly-colored insects right to you. For the children who are perhaps more daring, there will be an 8-and-a-half-foot snake to touch, courtesy of Petland Discounts.

Watch your kids marvel at robots and even fly a simulated drone, as well as take part in a variety of STEM activities. Traditional fair offerings, like face-painting, bounce houses, a photo booth, popcorn, cotton candy and balloon animals, can be found here, too. And for the adults, there’s to be more than 90 exhibitors from places like schools, camps, birthday party venues and healthcare centers.

There is so much to see and do at this Kids Fair (check website for full schedule) that you will just have to go and check it out for yourself – and I think you will be glad you did!
