The I Love Chocolate (and who doesn’t) Fest returns this Sunday

Rich, velvety, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate – I love it! I especially gravitate toward milk chocolate, dark chocolate and the melted semi-sweet chocolate morsels baked into chocolate chip cookies. If you love chocolate as much as I do, you’ll want to be the first in line – like me – for The I Love Chocolate Fest, with more than 50 chocolate exhibitors, held on Nov. 20, at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

How sweet is this fest with its free samples of unique chocolate treats? There’s more though, as an additional 40 exhibitors have joined in the “chocolate” fun to showcase wine, crafts and giveaways. If you end up liking what you munch on, you can purchase the food for your own snacking pleasure, or even bring as a gift to those you visit on Thanksgiving.

This is an indoor/outdoor event that’s expanded throughout the Village. So, your Chocolate Fest ticket grants you admission to the Old Bethpage Village Restoration as a whole, where you can enjoy the history museum, children’s games and demos, celebrate an 1863 Thanksgiving and more. There will also be a chance to meet Santa.

And if you go, have fun and make sure to treat yourself (maybe to the chocolate-covered pretzels I’m having), readers!
